Youth Moving On (YMO) recognizes the importance of connecting and engaging youth with members of the community. There is truly no limit to the ways in which you can begin your involvement with us. We offer a variety of volunteer experiences that allow you to share your talents matched with your own availability. YMO welcomes support from volunteers in a variety of areas including:

Workshops/Training: We invite you to share your expertise or specialized training with the youth in our program to assist in enhancing our life skills instruction in these areas:

  • Careers & Education
  • Healthy Relationships
  • Independent Living
  • Substance Abuse
  • Nutrition and many more

Community Activities: We encourage volunteers to share their talents with service projects or community-based activities for our youth such as:

  • Cooking classes
  • Exercise classes
  • Gardening & environmental improvement projects
  • Arts & crafts
  • Cultural events

Hillsides is a premier provider dedicated to improving the overall well-being and functioning of vulnerable children, youth, and their families. >
We offer community-based programs and services providing parenting classes, mental health support, and crucial resources for vulnerable children and families throughout Los Angeles County. >
Education Center, a therapeutic residential and day school, offers individualized education for students with social-emotional, learning and/or behavior challenges for children in kindergarten. >
