Hillsides Children Experience a Series of First this Holiday Season

(PASADENA, CA)--This holiday season has been a season of firsts for the children who live in Hillsides Residential Treatment Services program. For the first time in many of their lives, they saw snow, made gingerbread houses and other holiday crafts, attended a live play, visited with Santa, and enjoyed holiday parties.

Pasadena and Maserati Pasadena Host Winter Wonderland Toy Drive Benefiting Hillsides

(PASADENA, CA) Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Pasadena and Maserati Pasadena hosted a Winter Wonderland Toy Drive benefiting Hillsides and Holiday Party on Thursday, December 4, 2014. The VIP guests enjoyed a snow –sparkled winter wonderland menagerie while sipping on champagne, and Chopin Vodka. A Hennessy cognac lounge was set up for tasting. Outside the showrooms, a cigar tent sponsored by The Tobacco Planet featured fine cigars for the guests to enjoy. Rolls-Royce and Maserati ice luges were the perfect addition to the Grey Goose holiday cocktails.

Southern California Gas Company Hosts Holiday Party for Hillsides Children

(PASADENA,CA) On December 17, several employees from Southern California Gas Company including the facilities department at its Pico Rivera training facility threw a holiday party for children who reside at Hillsides Residential Treatment Services in Pasadena. Employees transformed the recreational room at Hillsides into a magical holiday setting, with a beautiful Christmas tree, poinsettias, and tables full of gifts and baked goods.

Foundations Award $728,000 to Support Hillsides Work with Transition Age Youth

(PASADENA, CA) Through the generosity of several prestigious foundations, Hillsides has raised $728,000 in grant awards this year to help put hundreds of transition-aged youth in Los Angeles County on the path to independence.

Hillsides Launches Holiday Toy Drive in 55 Local Starbucks Stores

(PASADENA, CA) For the fifth year in a row, Starbucks is sponsoring a toy drive in participating Starbucks stores in the San Gabriel Valley and surrounding area. This year, 55 stores will be participating. The drive will run from December 12 – December 25.
